For the third consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Texas Wesleyan University
in the #1 tier of regional universities in the West.
“This reflects not only on our institution, but also on
the faculty and staff who are at the heart of our university,” Texas Wesleyan
University President Frederick G. Slabach said. “U.S. News & World Report’s external validation reflects the
quality of our programs and the commitment of those who implement them.”
Texas Wesleyan, which has a tradition of preparing
students for careers and postgraduate work, offers 60 undergraduate programs of
study, a fully accredited MBA program, graduate programs in education and
counseling, a pioneering graduate nurse anesthesia program, and the Texas
Wesleyan School of Law.
The U.S News rankings help prospective students
choose a college based on relative quality and value. The West tier includes
such institutions as Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas; Santa Clara
University in Silicon Valley, California; and, Gonzaga University in Spokane,
Washington.
