Clinical training for nurse anesthesia residents consists of the actual administration of general and regional anesthesia with qualified clinical instructors (anesthesiologists and/or C.R.N.A.’s) at primary clinical sites.
Texas Wesleyan has over 25 clinical sites in hospitals from coast to coast, with many sites in Texas, and others in California, Florida, and eight other states. A clinical coordinator facilitates clinical education in the hospital setting. Each coordinator is responsible for all aspects of clinical and clinical didactic education for the nurse anesthesia residents.
For more information about Texas Wesleyan's clinical sites, see Graduate Programs of Nurse Anesthesia.
