The B.S. degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry are designed for students who intend to pursue advanced studies leading to the Master's or Ph.D. degree in the chemical sciences, or who wish to obtain employment as chemists in industrial or government laboratories. A research project is required of all students earning the B.S. degree.
The B.A. degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry are designed for students who intend to pursue a career in teaching science or Chemistry at the High School level (B.A. Chemistry) or have an interest in Health related fields (B.A. Biochemistry).
