counseling field.

Michelle Payne

Michelle Payne is the Interim Director of the PreProfessional Program and an Associate Professor of Political Science; she teaches the PreProfessional junior level course and the Moot Court class.

She serves as sponsor for the Phi Alpha Delta Honor Society, the Moot Court Team, and the PreLaw Society. She  is available to advise all students interested in attedning law school.

Chitra Chandrasekaran

Chitra Chandrasekaran is an Associate Professor of Biology and the Department Chair. She advises PreMed students and is the sponsor of the PreHealth Career Society.

Bobby Deaton

Bobby Deaton is Professor of Physics. He is the chair of the PreProfessional Advisory Board and serves as an advisor for PreMed students.

Kendra Irons

Kendra Irons is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Religion and Philosophy. She is a sponsor of Omega Chi and advises Christian Studies students.

Carol Johnson-Gerendas

Carol Johnson-Gerendas is an Assistant Professor of Communications and the Program Coordinator for Liberal Studies. She advises students who are considering careers in non-profit agencies.

Barbara Kirby

Barbara Kirby is the Director of Paralegal Studies.

B.A., University of Texas at Dallas, 1980; J.D., Southern Methodist University, 1983.

Ron McManus

Ron McManus is Professor of Religion and Philosophy, Psychology, and Counseling, as well as the Bebensee University Scholar. He teaches the senior level course, Ethics in the Professions. He is the sponsor of the Ethics Teams.

Scott Methvin

Scott Methvin is the University Counselor and the Director of the Glick House Community Counseling Center. He teaches the sophomore PreProfessional classes.

Ibrahim Salih

Ibrahim Salih is Professor of Political Science. He serves as sponsor for the Model Arab League and advises students who major in Political Science.

Annette Smith

Annette Smith is the Recruitment & Activities Specialist for the MD Anderson PreProfessional Program.
