Freshman Admission Requirements

Texas Wesleyan accepts applications on a "rolling admission" basis. You will want to submit your completed application as soon as possible for an opportunity of a scholarship. When an admission decision is made, we will send you a scholarship offer, if eligible.

All of the following information must be completed and submitted before an admission decision can be made.

Freshman Admission Requirements:

  • Application for Undergraduate Admission
  • Official High School Transcript
  • Official SAT or ACT score
  • $25 Non-refundable Application Fee (applicants who apply online do not need to pay the Application Fee)

Applicants seeking regular admission must meet the following requirements:

  • 2.5 weighted high school GPA
  • 19 ACT composite score or 920 SAT combined score in critical reading and math only
  • Top 50% ranking in the senior class

Students not meeting any or all of the above criteria are subject to review by the Committee on Admission, Scholarships and Financial Aid for a final decision regarding admission. Applicants who are referred to the committee may be requested to submit the following:

  • Essay
  • Letters of Recommendation
