ScholarshipsMethodist Scholarships Texas Wesleyan University is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and receives funding from The General Board of Higher Education and Ministry, the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation, and conferences located in Texas to support scholarship programs for Texas Wesleyan students.
Up to $1,000. You're eligible for this scholarship if you're a Methodist student who has been an active member of a Methodist church for at least one year.

Up to $5,000. If your church supports you financially up to $2,500 per year, the university will match your church's contribution up $2,500 per year.
Up to $4,000. You're eligible for this scholarship if you are a member of the Methodist clergy, or are the dependent of a member of the clergy, like a son or daughter.
