AUSTIN, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (10-13, 4-4 RRAC) picked up a 3-0 win on the road against Huston-Tillotson University (4-19, 3-5) on Saturday.
Texas Wesleyan took the match with scores of 25-20, 25-20, and 25-21.
Destiny Clemons led the Rams offensively with 10 kills and two blocks. Devin Warren added seven kills and three blocks. Chelsy Covington posted 23 digs. Evoni Darling notched 18 assists, while Angelica Arroyo posted 14 assists and eight digs.
The Lady Rams will return to action on Thursday, when they host Southwestern Assemblies of God University on Think Pink Day. That match is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start in the Sid Richardson Center. |
