FORT WORTH, TX: Texas Wesleyan University’s Kristina Harris has been named Red River Athletic Conference Volleyball Libero of the Week for the period of October 26 – November 1.
Harris, a senior defensive specialist from Cleburne, TX, scooped 38 digs and had only one receiving error in a 2-1 week for the Lady Rams. She posted 15 digs in a win over Jarvis Christian College (TX) and 16 in a 3-1 loss to Wiley College (TX).
Southwestern Assemblies of God University’s Kelani Daniels was named RRAC Player of the Week and Co-Hitter of the Week. She shared the HOW award with Wiley’s Darly Castillo. Wiley’s Eileen Burbano was named Setter of the Week.
The Lady Rams stand at 14-15 overall and 8-5 in conference play. They will host Huston-Tillotson University in the Sid Richardson Center at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. |
