Player Stats

2008: Played in 37 matches, including 22 starts...received the Coaches’ Award...named 2nd-team All-RRAC...ranked 2nd on the team with 274 kills, 48 aces, and 60 blocks...reached double-figures in kills 10 times...named RRAC Hitter of the Week after averaging 9.2 kills and 1.2 blocks per match in a 4-1 week (10/17-18)...had a season-high 15 kills in a 3-2 RRAC Semifinal loss to Wiley (11/14)...had a career-high eight digs on three occasions, vs. SE Oklahoma (9/6), vs. St. Thomas (11/1), and vs. Wiley (11/14)...had four blocks five times.

 

2006: Played in 20 games...ranked fourth on the team with 199 kills...reached double-figures in kills six times...had a season-high 16 kills against College of the Southwest (10/16)...recorded three solo and two assisted blocks against Texas College (10/21).

 

2005: Saw action in 20 games for the Lady Rams as a freshman...finished the season with 29 kills, a .227 kill percentage, and six blocks...recorded a season-high six kills against Huston-Tillotson (10/28)...posted three blocks and four kills against Texas College (9/30)...recorded a kill in one game played against Point Loma Nazarene  in the national tournament.

 

High School: A three-year letterwinner for both Amy Ballard and Jenny McHenry at Grand Prairie High School…helped lead her team to the playoffs in her junior season for the first time in a decade…named 2nd-team All-District and District Defensive Player of the Year in her junior season...named Honorable Mention All-District in her sophomore season…also lettered in basketball and soccer…in basketball, she was named 1st-team All-District and Offensive Player of the Year in her senior season...named GPHS's Athlete of the Year as a senior.

 

Personal: Born Destiny Deyavon Clemons, Apr. 13, 1987, in Durant, OK…daughter of Gerald West and Bridgette Clemons…has one sister, Courtney…is majoring in kinesiology.
