ACADEMIC CONVOCATION SET FOR SEPT. 1

Texas Wesleyan University will hold its 17th Annual Academic Convocation at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, in Polytechnic United Methodist Church.

Dr. Judith Carrier, President of Tarrant County College Southeast Campus, will be the keynote speaker. 

The Academic Convocation for Texas Wesleyan is held at the beginning of each school year as an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to gather and reflect on the nature of their mission for the year – to receive, provide, and support a comprehensive higher education. The faculty wears academic regalia (robes and hoods) to honor the occasion.
