ALUMNUS STARS IN ISRAEL HOROVITZ'S SINS OF THE MOTHER A former Texas Wesleyan student portrays an out-of-work fisherman in Sins of the Mother, currently in production with the Gloucester Stage Company in Gloucester, Mass. Alumnus David Nail, BFA '03, is Dubbah Morrison, one of four unemployed fishermen living in Gloucester, whose life becomes intertwined with the others in his closely knit community. "The truth is that for all five characters in this engrossing drama by Israel Horovitz, the past is always present. It traps them, struggle as they might to forget it, in a cycle of guilt and retribution. The past can’t be swept away with a glib one-liner. It is always circling, waiting to move in for the kill." --Don Aucoin, The Boston Globe "And as Dubbah Morrison, David Nail brings sweetness to a bittersweet role; he provides several of the play’s few moments of humor through well-timed bumbling antics." --Robert Israel, EDGEboston.com More online:
