OFFICIAL DEDICATION OF THE TEXAS HISTORICAL MARKER FOR POLYTECHNIC CEMETERY

All members of the Wesleyan community are invited to the official dedication of the Texas Historical Marker for Polytechnic Cemetery at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21. Because of the likelihood of rain, the event will be held at Lou's Place, with a reception to follow.  

In March of last year, we helped celebrate as Poly Cemetery received the 100th Historic Texas Cemetery designation. The official marker will now be unveiled at the historic cemetery that borders Wesleyan’s campus.

Tarrant County Court officials and representatives of the Tarrant County Historical Commission, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Daughters of the Republic of Texas, as well as descendents, will join in the ceremony.

Lou's Place is located at 1112 Wesleyan St., Fort Worth.
