RAMS HOST THIRD ANNUAL WESLEYAN HUGHES CLASSIC All members of the Wesleyan community are invited come support the Rams as they host the Third Annual Wesleyan Hughes Classic volleyball tournament beginning at 9 a.m. today, Friday, Sept. 18, and continuing on Saturday, Sept. 19. Matches start at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday in the Sid W. Richardson Gymnasium (1100 S. Collard St., Fort Worth). The last match each day is at 7 p.m. Schedule for the Rams: 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, v. John Brown University 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, v. College of the Ozarks 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, v. Belhaven College 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, v. Oklahoma Baptist University Becky Hughes coached volleyball at Wesleyan from 1979-1991. She has already been inducted into the Wesleyan Hall of Fame for her contributions and success sustained during her tenure at the University. Hughes still holds volleyball coaching records for the best overall record of 369-194 and winning percentage .655 at Wesleyan. Her Wesleyan volleyball teams made nine appearances at the NAIA National Volleyball Tournament. Questions?
