VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR RESEARCH STUDY IN THE COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

The counseling department at Texas Wesleyan University is looking for volunteers to participate in parent-child relationship improvement groups. They are conducting groups with parents and step-parents of children between the ages of 3 and 8. Participation in the groups is free.

Texas Wesleyan University offers graduate degrees in professional counseling (LPC and LMFT) and school counseling. The Glick House, located on the Texas Wesleyan campus, provides counseling for mental health, addiction, marriage and family concerns, and more. Clinical services are provided by master’s level counseling students from the Texas Wesleyan Graduate Counseling program, who are supervised by a clinical graduate faculty member.
