Maintenance

Maintenance provides the upkeep and repair of University buildings and properties within those buildings, heating/cooling systems, minor plumbing, and lighting for buildings, offices and rooms.  Some limited carpentry is also provided upon approval of the maintenance manager.

There are two options when reporting problems to maintenance:

Emergency Notification

Emergenies consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

-  No power/electricity in building, room or office

-  Flooding (includes overflowing toilets and major leaks)

-  No water in building, room, lab or restroom.

If any of the above listed incidences occurs, call Facilities at (817) 531-4454.  Phones are answered from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.  Maintenance staff are available Monday-Friday from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, with limited staffing from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Non-Emergency Notification

For incidences not listed above, please use the on-line work order form.  Work order requests are usually completed within 1-3 days, barring circumstances beyond our control (i.e., receiving parts, emergencies, ect.).
