EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master of Management Information Systems or an MBA with 18 graduate hours in information systems. For MBA degree holders, certifications or experience in advanced Excel applications is required. All Candidates should possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in a leadership position and be currently employed in a field relating to the use of information systems. Demonstrated potential for strong teaching is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and/or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, students and University employees.
Ability to calculate figures & amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, calculus and statistics.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
