G-Force is a network of college students committed to achieving a college-going culture by supporting GO Centers at Castleberry HS, Crowley HS, North Crowley HS, the Bill R. Johnson Career & Technology Center.  G-Force Mentors provide high school students with many pre-collegiate services, such as basic information about college, SAT/ACT test preparation, the college application process, and financial aid information. The G-Force mentors students and acts as a facilitator to help students attend the college of their choosing. 

NOTE: These two positions are needed to specifically work at Crowley High School and the Crowley ISD Bill R. Johnson Career & Technology Center.

Qualifications (required skills & abilities):

College students needed who desire to mentor and train high school students and assist them in pre-collegiate services so that they are prepared to attend college.  College students of any classification, with a minimum GPA of 2.5; prefer first generation college students.  All applicants are required to be in good standing, in accordance with Texas Wesleyan’s Registrar’s Office.

Training is providing upon hiring; Applicants must have reliable transportation

Applicants are required to go through a background check with Fort Worth ISD, Castleberry ISD, and Crowley ISD.

Availability:

M - F: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Maximum 20 hours per week)
