Assisst the undergraduate students with accounting assignments, including, but not limited to: beginning and intermediate accounting principles, managerial accounting, financial accounting and accounting theory as well as upper-level accounting topics. Tutoring session are intended to be instructional, to assist students in becoming proficient in accounting. Tutors are to engage students in conversations that help draw and express ideas.
Qualifications (required skills & abilities):
Knowledeable and skills in mathematics. Grades of A or B in acocunting courses taken. Skilled in instructing others. Courteous, friendly, patient, sensitive and dependable. THe ideal candidate will have a minimum completion of ACC 2301-01, preferably completed ACC 2302-02.
Maximum 15 hours per week.
