Provides clerical and receptionist support for the School of Business.

Job Description:
  • Provide back-up support for the School of Business including: answering telepohnes; gretting visitors; providing information; taking messages; informing staff members of callers' needs and request' and, routing calls and visitors.
  • Provide clerical support for the School of Business including: processing incoming and outgoing mail; copying documents; establishing and maintaining files; and, providing typing and data entry support.
  • Straighten up the front reception area daily to ensure, clean, safe and professional setting.
  • Ability to work independently in an efficient manner with minimum supervision.
  • Proficiency with current software programs such as Microsoft Word & Excel and have general knowledge of computer equipment.
  • Able to work on evening event during Fall and Spring semester.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

Qualifications (required skills & abilities):

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Secretarial/receptionist excperience strongly preferred.
  • Earned college credit hours and/or experience working in an educational setting preferred. 
  • Ability to type 25 w.p.m.
  • Proficiency with an integrated administrative system and current software programs.
  • Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures, including files. 
  • Proficient use of a multi-line phone system.

Hours Needed:

  • 15 hours per week during the fall/spring semester.
  • Able to work one evening event during fall/spring semester.
