Job Description:

Assist undergraduate students with writing assignments, including, but not limited to: topic selection, formatting, citations, grammar, and punctuation. Tutoring sessions are intended to be instructional, to assist students in becoming better writers. Tutors are to engage students in conversations that help draw and express ideas.

Qualifications (required skills & abilities):

Knowledgeable and skilled in written communication. Grades of A or B in English courses taken. Skilled in instructing others. Courteous, friendly, patient, sensitive, and dependable. Preferably completed either ENG 3310 or ENG 3343.

Hours Needed:

Maximum 15 hours per week.
Flexible M-F schedule, times needed primarily - mornings.
