Texas Wesleyan University’s Theatre Wesleyan presents A Man For All Seasons, written by Robert
Bolt and directed by Jeanne Everton, associate professor of theatre.
The play will be presented in the Thad Smotherman Theatre in
the Law Sone Fine Arts Building, located at the corner of Binkley St. and
Avenue E.
Sir Thomas More, the 16th century Chancellor of England,
held that a person was defined by his conscience. A Man For All Seasons explores the impact of More's convictions,
both religious and secular, when he refused to endorse King Henry VIII's
divorce from Catherine of Aragon in order to marry Anne Boleyn.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, Sept. 25. The box office will
be open Tuesdays to Fridays 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and one hour before curtain on
show days. For reservations please call 817-531-4211.
