Be a part of history at the Rosedale groundbreaking
We're about to make history at Texas Wesleyan, and we want you to be there for the celebration.
You're invited to join President Frederick G. Slabach, the Board of Trustees, Mayor Betsy Price and other government officials on Friday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. for the ceremonial groundbreaking of the Rosedale Renaissance Project.
The event will be held at the site adjacent to the Armstrong-Mabee Business Center.
Road construction on East Rosedale has been ongoing since last spring, but the ceremonial groundbreaking will mark the beginning of new construction for the campus entryway and clock tower, the United Methodist Church Central Texas Conference Service Center, which will be home to the bishop’s offices, and the business incubator center.
Pillars of the project
The Rosedale Renaissance is a $6.5 million multifaceted project designed to leverage more than $32 million in private and public funding for the benefit of the Polytechnic neighborhood and Texas Wesleyan University.
There are four key pieces to the Rosedale Renaissance development:
The project also includes the addition of a reflecting pool in the entryway, promenade-style sidewalks with seat walls and facilities that provide additional opportunities for students to learn.
Be part of the vision
The Rosedale Renaissance is going to shape the future of the campus and revitalize the surrounding area. Don't miss your chance to be part of history.
