Health Insurance

All F-1 visa students are automatically enrolled in the university's International Student Health Insurance plan, and the premium is charged to your tuition fees at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.  The university's insurance plan is required unless comparable medical coverage is documented and submitted to and approved by the International Programs Office prior to the 1st class day.

If you are an F-1 student and need to enroll your spouse and/or child(ren), please contact the International Programs Office before the 1st day of class in the fall semester.

If you have any questions about the plan coverage, please call Academic HealthPlans at 888-308-7320 or visit their website at https://www.AHPCare.com/txwesleyan.
