Tarrant Area Food Bank works to eliminate hunger in Fort Worth, Texas and 13 surrounding counties by providing food, education and other resources to partner agencies and their communities.
Individuals and groups are invited to donate their time and skills to help Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) feed hungry Texans.
There are many volunteer opportunities available: committee work for special events, hospitality docents, quality control workers, office assistants (data input, filing, reception duty), coordinators of Food & Fund Drives and so forth.

A basic one-hour orientation is provided for all volunteers on the following schedule:
First Tuesday of each month - 8:30 a.m.
Second Tuesday of the month - Noon
Third Tuesday of the month - 6:00 p.m.
