Software Development
A software developer produces computer-based goods and services for individual consumers and companies. They also coordinate the production of software products that includes choosing content providers, assembling graphics creators, and working with programmers. Software developers are also included in the actual assembling, pressing, and distribution of the final product. Because the software industry is so young, there is a demand for those who wish to pursue this kind of work.
System and Network Administration
System/network administrators look to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network problems. They are also responsible for networks by maintaining the hardware and software and monitoring them to ensure it's availability to system users. System administrators plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
Information Consulting
Information consultants develop information technology solutions for business problems that help organizations operate as efficiently and effectively as possible. As an information consultant, one must present the ability to think logically and analytically, pay close attention to detail, and work independently as well as in teams.
Database Administration
Database administrators create and maintain computer database management systems by working with software to determine ways to organize and store data. Within an organization, a database administrator ensures the performance of the system with an understanding of the platform on which the database runs. They often plan and coordinate security measures due to the fact that they may design and implement system security. Important aspects of this career include data integrity, backup systems, and database security.
