The President’s Council Kickoff Concert features Voices of Fort Worth, at 14-voice choir conducted by Dr. Jerome Bierschenk. Voices specializes in acappella singing and explores music of every period and style from early Renaissance to the most contemporary. The group’s debut performance was on May 1, 2012 when they presented two selections as part of an evening of choral music with the Wesleyan Chorale on the campus of Texas Wesleyan University. The members of the ensemble are highly skilled individuals with degrees and/or extensive training and experience in the field of vocal music. A reception will follow at Lou’s Place.
