Students from Fort Worth ISD second language program will engage in hands-on science and readers theater. Faculty and students in the Department of Education will provide one-on-one, science and reading instruction with the children from the second language program. It is an opportunity for our undergraduates to engage in instructional practices in a nontraditional setting. It is a chance for the second language students to be introduced to a college campus while learning science and reading. Approximately, 100 of our undergraduates in the Department of Education will participate, as well as, 300 second language students from Fort Worth ISD.
