Rosedale Street Improvement Meeting on Campus Thursday
Texas Wesleyan University is hosting a pre-construction public meeting for the East Rosedale Street Improvements project at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in the Baker Building.
President Frederick G. Slabach and other University officials will join city leaders and community partners at the event, which will provide a progress update. During the meeting, residents and business owners will have an opportunity to meet the construction team.
The $15.5 million first phase of the street improvements will be for reconstruction and rehabilitation on the stretch between U.S. 287 and Miller Avenue. A portion of that – $1.875 million – involves significant renovation and enhancements to four blocks adjacent to the university.
Funding partners in the East Rosedale Street project include the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, North Central Texas Council of Governments, Texas Department of Transportation, and Texas Wesleyan University.
