Jerome Bierschenk, professor of music, will lead Voices, a new vocal ensemble, in a performance at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Ridglea United Methodist Church. Admission is free. The group will perform the work of Thomas Tallis, David Dickau, Benjamin Britten and others.

Voices specializes in a cappella singing, and performs music spanning the Renaissance and modern eras. This is their first full performance after a featured spot at a Wesleyan Chorale concert last spring.
