Imagine. Create. Connect. That's the theme that unified students and faculty in a common exploration of academic pursuits during University College Day 2012. The event featured nearly 200 students and 25 faculty members throughout the day of 65 presentations.

A total of 1,700 students, faculty, and staff attended the sessions, which ran from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Two live bands and a keynote address by Fort Worth City Councilman Joel Burns rounded out the day.

"The day was a beautiful success and an amazing experience for our students," said Edita Ruzgyte, UCD chair and assistant professor of counseling. "I am so grateful to the UCD committee for their hard work and dedication.
