The Program for the Government and Legal Studies at Texas Wesleyan University is a source of combined resources, offering comopetitive degrees for pre-law, paralegal, and politically minded students. In essence, the program provides complimentary course-work, and options for participation in a varitey of related activiites. These activities include Model Arab League, the Innocence Project, Moot Court, and Mediation. The program hosts an active Pre-Law Fraternity (Phi Alpha Delta) and links with the Pre-Professional Program, Pre-Law Society. The unique opportunities the Program offers allows students to experience government, public law, or (mock) law practice in a variety of settings, both in and beyond the classroom. This combination of theory and practice prepares students for post-baccualaureate study or the rigors of legal and political professional careers

The Texas Wesleyan University Government and Legal Studies Program is now on Facebook. If you would like to contact one of the faculty members from the program, this is another means by which you may do so. The new Facebook page is also used to announce upcoming events.
