With 20 years experience in the IT field, Mr. Blackwell “has a passion for working with personal computers and technology. I do all I can to make sure the end users are satisfied.”
He has seen some “pretty dynamic changes” in his last two and a half years at Texas Wesleyan. “Classroom technology has changed. There’s an increase in the amount of technology and integration of technology, especially on the law campus.”

Mr. Blackwell volunteers as the technology coordinator at Ft. Worth’s St. George Catholic School. He works evenings and weekends, installing upgrades and doing system maintenance. He’s proud of overseeing the install of the school’s wireless network, the first elementary school in the area to have it.

Mr. Blackwell likes to exercise and weight train, sing karaoke, roller skate, and read science fiction and fantasy novels. He is a self-proclaimed “struggling bass guitar player” and enjoys traveling; he visited many countries in the Pacific while in the military.
