Not much has remained the same about her position since Mrs. Mitchell started 25 years ago. “Students used to have to go through us to register and do everything. Now, we’ve been brought up to the times and there are new ways of doing everything; everything is electronic and online.”
She misses meeting all the students. “I love working with the students and trying to help them. My belief is if you are not here to help students, you don’t need to be here.”
Mrs. Mitchell strives to be positive, courteous, and stay calm, and she enjoys her coworkers. “This is a harder office to work in because you have to be very logical and stay positive, but this is a fantastic group. We have a lot of laughter in our office.”
