Ms. Reese’s job changes daily, varying on the need of faculty, staff, and students. Whether it is offering support to a classroom or setting up media for meetings, “there’s no ordinary day.”

“It’s really refreshing to see how committed people are to education at Texas Wesleyan. I’ve never seen anyone—faculty, staff, or student—that doesn’t give 100 percent. It makes it a very pleasant place to work.”

In the six years she has worked at Texas Wesleyan, the greatest change has been huge upgrades in equipment. “We’re stepping into a new age.” Ms. Reese recently received her A+ Certification, a very involved two-part test with a 20 percent pass rate. “It’s one of my biggest accomplishments in my career in IT.”

Did you know?
In 2010, Ms. Reese fulfilled a long-time dream, moving into a house on the lake. “I’m grateful everyday to wake up and see the lake and all the wildlife.” She has two college-aged sons.
