Academic Advising & Student Success is pleased to announce that Alyssha Munt has joined the team as our new Academic Advisor! In this role, Alyssha will monitor student progress with particular attention to undecided majors and international freshmen, as well as assist the team in orientation events, academic support and retention initiatives.

Munt brings a variety of valuable experience to Texas Wesleyan. She comes to us from Kansas State University, where she served as the Academic Services Coordinator. Throughout her career in higher education, Munt has worked in academic advising, career services, grant writing, disability service, and residence life. She received her bachelor's degree in English and political science from Aquinas College, and her master's degree in human development and leadership from Murray State University.
