Advising time will soon be here! Be on the lookout for an email to schedule your virtual advising appointment. All appointments will be via Microsoft Teams.

  • Seniors and Juniors - Oct. 7
  • Sophomores - Oct. 26
  • Freshmen - Nov. 9

New this semester: If you know the courses you need for next semester, e-mail your proposed schedule to your advisor ASAP. They will review it and if approved, will remove your advisor hold.

How to prepare for your advising appointment?

  1. Review Advising 101 to learn how to access your degree audit and search for classes.
  2. Review your degree audit and select 5 courses you would like to take this spring.
  3. Make a list of any questions you have for your advisor and have them ready for your appointment.

Arrive early to your appointment and be ready to discuss your future semester with your advisor. In order for your advisor to best assist you, communicate with your advisor and ask questions.

For more information about your advising appointment, contact your advisor or call 817-531-5824.
