Jeffrey DeLotto honored with Frances B. Hernandez Teacher-Scholar Award

Jeffrey DeLotto, Ph.D., professor of English, was awarded the Frances B. Hernandez Teacher-Scholar Award at the Conference of College Teachers of English on Saturday, March 5.

Jeffrey DeLotto, Ph.D., professor of English, was awarded the Frances B. Hernandez Teacher-Scholar Award at the Conference of College Teachers of English on Saturday, March 5.

Each year, the Conference of College Teachers of English honors the memory of Dr. Frances Hernández, longtime member of CCTE, by presenting this award to a professor who manifests excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. Recipients receive a plaque at the spring CCTE conference and an award of $1,000.

Dr. DeLotto has been a professor at Texas Wesleyan for more than 30 years. He is currently serving as president of the College English Association and is editing his recently completed historical novel, Wings of a Just God.
