The study and performance of serious contemporary wind literature. Four concerts are presented on campus each year in addition to a spring semester tour and other off-campus appearances. Open to the student body by audition. Class meets from 3-4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the academic year.

Cheer on the Rams with the Ram Band! Ram Band plays for the football and basketball games (approximately 7 games a semester). Positions are open to the student body by audition, and participation scholarships are available. Ram Band practices from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays during the academic year.

The study and performance of traditional and contemporary jazz. Open by audition to students with previous experience who desire further opportunity to learn stage band techniques. Two concerts are presented each year with many opportunities for performance both on- and off-campus. Rehearsals are 3-4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays during the academic year.

Small chamber music ensembles rehearse regularly, have weekly lessons, and perform in recital at least once during the semester. They are open by audition to experienced instrumentalists. Chamber ensembles available to audition during the academic year may include:

Greater Fort Worth Community Band
The Greater Fort Worth Community Band is designed to explore larger instrumental works and is open to the community on an auditioned basis. They present two concerts per semester and meet on Mondays from 7-9 p.m. during the academic year.
