Rams, listen up. This is music to your ears.

The acclaimed Hall Ensemble, a string quartet featuring musicians from the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, will perform a special concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in Martin Hall.

This is the first time the regionally-acclaimed quartet has performed at Texas Wesleyan.

Voted by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram as having performed one of the “top 10 classical music concerts of 2014,” the ensemble is best known for their intimate and engaging concert style where they return chamber music to its roots as the “music of friends.”

The Hall Ensemble features bassoonist Kevin Hall, violinist Jennifer Chang, violist Aleksanda Holowka and cellist Karen Hall, along with guest violinist Izumi Lund.

About the Chamber Series

The Friends of Wesleyan Music Chamber Series is a new program funded in part by Texas Wesleyan benefactors, who not only give back financially, but want to give back musically to an institution and community they so love.

The Hall Ensemble performance is the first in the Music Department's new Chamber Ensemble series, which will showcase small local ensembles in Martin Hall.
