Theatre department to hold event for high school and community college educators
Theatre Wesleyan will hold a special Dinner & A Show event for high school and community college theatre educators. As the semester gets rolling with productions, projects, UIL season, and more for local schools, the Theatre department will hold this event during performances of Smokefall.
This free Dinner & A Show event will take place at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16.
Following dinner, educators will get a chance to learn more about Theatre Wesleyan's new degree programs, hear from theatre majors about their experience, tour the Theatre Wesleyan facilities, then attend the evening performance of Smokefall in the Thad Smotherman Theatre.
All teachers, professors, technical directors, and staff members from the schools' theatre departments are welcome to attend. Educators are also encouaged to invite their students to attend the show, as well as a special talkback following the performance.
