03.21.2018 | By: Texas Wesleyan University

Theatre Wesleyan is looking for clubs, organizations, sororities or fraternities, who are interested in volunteering for our upcoming production of OKLAHOMA!

A total of 8 ushers will be needed for each performance of OKLAHOMA! Ushers will receive two free tickets to that performance of the show; one for themselves, and one for a guest. All information regarding duties and times will come via email at jesanchez@txwes.edu. People may volunteer for multiple days, if they wish. Volunteers must be over 18 years old.

Duties may include assisting patrons to seats, assisting handicapped patrons to special seating, handing out programs, etc.  Volunteers must stay for the duration of the show from 6:30-10:30 p.m. for evening performances on April 19-21 or 12:45-5 p.m. for the one matinee on April 22. They will assist before the show, during intermission, and after the show. If they volunteer for the Saturday, April 21 performance, they are invited to attend the Alumni Afterglow Event immediately following the performance.

More information can be found below. Volunteers can sign up online no later than Wednesday, April 4.  If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please email theatre business manager, Jacob Rivera-Sanchez at jesanchez@txwes.edu.
