In Theatre Wesleyan's new weekly video series "Student Spotlights", we ask some of our students about the shows they've worked on, their experience on and off campus, and their favorite shows.

Sophomore theatre major Crystal Salazar has been named the first student of the 2015-16 school year to be featured in a new weekly video series called Student Spotlights.

"My favorite thing about Wesleyan," Salazar says, "is that it's so small. It allows us to be closer to each other."

Shows Salazar has worked on in her short time at Wesleyan include a role in The Survivor (Spring 2015), Metamorphoses (Fall 2015) and working as a dresser for productions including Fuddy Meers and Sylvia (both Fall 2014).

Her favorite play that Wesleyan did last year was Fuddy Meers because "of its big characters."
