The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics is pleased to introduce Dr. Aldo Cruz-Cota, a new assistant professor of mathematics.

Dr. Cruz-Cota has taught in several universities across the country, such as the University of California-Santa Barbara, DePaul University and the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Dr Cruz-Cota's research is on geometry and topology in low dimensions and their applications to the natural and social sciences. His research findings have been published in different international journals and presented in academic conferences in the USA, Mexico and India.
