Feb. 5 brass concert to feature Music Department faculty

Several of the Texas Wesleyan Music Department faculty, including featured performers James M. Lind, Julie McCoy, Keith Critcher, Karen Hall and the departmental brass quintet, will perform an evening of classical brass music at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, in Martin Hall. 

Pieces include Handel’s Eternal Source of Light Divine for trumpet, voice, violoncello and piano, Arutunian’s Concerto for Trumpet and Piano, John Cheetam’s Scherzo, his most often performed work for brass quintet, and several others.
