Student Spotlight: Junior theatre major Jasmine West loves students' involvement

In Theatre Wesleyan's new weekly video series "Student Spotlights," we ask some of our students about the shows they've worked on, their experience on and off campus and their favorite shows.
Junior theatre major Jasmine West has been named the sixth student of the 2015-16 school year to be featured in a new weekly video series called Student Spotlights.
"What I love about Wesleyan," West says, "is that everything is made by us. We build all of our sets and costumes in-house and I think that’s really cool."
Jasmine has worked on several Theatre Wesleyan productions as stage manager, assistant stage manager, spotlight operator, properties designer, spotlight operator, as well as onstage roles in 33 Variations, Fuddy Meers, Rent and the upcoming School for Scandal.
Two plays she enjoys include The Country Wife and The Importance of Being Earnest. Her favorite musicals are Cabaret and In The Heights.
