In Theatre Wesleyan's new weekly video series "Student Spotlights," we ask some of our students about the shows they've worked on, their experience on and off campus and their favorite shows.

Senior theatre major Carlos Brumfield has been named the fifth student of the 2015-16 school year to be featured in a new weekly video series called Student Spotlights.

"One of the many reasons why I love Wesleyan," Brumfield says, "is because it feels like a family here. I transferred from a community college and I immediately felt like part of the group."

Carlos is currently assistant director and stage manager for our upcoming production of The School for Scandal, assistant stage manager for Fuddy Meers, assistant director of The Survivor and played Tom Collins in Rent. He has also been involved in several student-directed projects.

His favorite musical play is The Lion in Winter by James Goldman and his favorite musical is Caroline, or Change.
