Theatre major Darin Martin's Top 5 reasons audience should see 'Hats'

To prepare for Theatre Wesleyan's production of Nick Jones' zany high fashion sci-fi comedy, opening at Theatre Wesleyan on Feb. 15, theatre major Darin Martin has created a Top 5 list for audience members.  Here are Darin Martin's "Top 5 Reasons Audiences Should See Important Hats."

5. The Story

Ever wonder what it would be like to find a time traveling hat? What would you do with that power? This show will have exactly what you want.

4. The Cast

Talented individuals taking on the helm of wacky and strange characters experiencing a unique situation.

3. The Set Design

If you enjoy in-the-round theatrical experiences, this show is for you. Actors will be up close and personal.

2. The Costumes

Designed by theatre major, Alastair Sigala Ramirez, our costumes convey a crazy story about time travel.

1. The Comedy

The show will be a great end to all who attend that night. A very immersive experience full of laughter and crazy antics.

Hats will be directed by Bryan Stevenson, theatre department chair, and will open on Thursday, Feb. 15, for a limited run of seven performances through Sunday, Feb. 25.

Performances will be held Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and there will be one matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25.
