SGA is providing FREE TICKETS for Theatre Wesleyan's production of "Chamber Music" and "Shuddersome: Tales of Poe" to all current Texas Wesleyan students!

The absurdist one-act play "Chamber Music" by Arthur Kopit, directed by Professor of Theatre Connie Whitt-Lambert, performed with the gothic thriller "Shuddersome: Tales of Poe" adapted from the work of Edgar Allen Poe by Lindsay Price, directed by Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre Karen Potter. These two one-acts will be presented in the Thad Smotherman Theatre Feb. 16-19 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. 

Included in the "Chamber Music" cast are theatre majors Hope Allison-Denney, Bethany Bordelon, Ethan Brandt, Nicole Davis, Sharon Fron, Gianina Lambert, Grace Philipar, Nathan Tobey, Kirsten Wagner and Madi Whitney. The "Shuddersome: Tales of Poe" cast includes theatre majors Levertis Alamin, Jonathan Burt, Tanner Diggs, Chase Di Iulio, Abigale Hunt, Hugo Morales, Julissa Norment, Lane Norris and Peri Zachmeyer. 

The design and management team includes stage managers Taliyah Salih and Elena Cruce, assistant stage managers Marissa Rozas and Layla Noble-Davis, production assistant Rebeka Chavez, technical director Taylor Allen, scenic designer Cameron Hatcher, lighting designer Yajaira Rosales, costume designers Robyn Bradley and Bethany Bordelon, props designers Kyrsten Howard and Ethan Brandt, sound designers Kye Lewis and Raymundo Zafra, graphic designer Yudi Gutierrez, master electrician Colin Schwartz and choreographer Abigale Hunt.

This production runs just under 2 hours with a 15-minute intermission. University COVID-19 protocols will be in effect including masking and social distancing. To make a reservation, please visit the Theatre Wesleyan Box Office.
