Theatre Wesleyan opens 2015-16 season with 'Metamorphoses' beginning Sept. 24

Theatre Wesleyan is pleased to open the 2015-2016 season with Metamorphoses by Mary Zimmerman beginning Sept. 24, 2015.

Based on the tales of Ovid — set in and around a large pool of water onstage — Metamorphoses, a Tony Award® nominee for best play, juxtaposes the ancient and the contemporary to reflect the variety and persistence of narrative in the face of inevitable change.

The cast includes:

  • Giselle Saucedo, junior theatre major

Metamorphoses will run Sept. 24–26 and Oct. 1–4. All shows Sept. 24 through Oct. 3 will be at 7:30 p.m., and there is one matinee on Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. To reserve tickets, please call our box office at 817-531-4211.

The Thad Smotherman Theatre is located on the Texas Wesleyan Campus on the corner of Avenue E and Binkley Street. This production is rated PG.
