Don Meichenbaum, author of "Roadmap to Resilience", to speak at UCD April 20

Dr. Donald Meichenbaum, author of "Roadmap to Resilience" and Research Director of the Melissa Institute for Violence Prevention and Treatment at the University of Miami will give his keynote presentation via Zoom webinar at 4 p.m. on April 20.

Dr. Donald (Don) Meichenbaum, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, is currently the Research Director of the Melissa Institute for Violence Prevention and Treatment at the University of Miami in Miami, FL. He is one of the founders of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and in a survey of clinicians was voted "one of the ten most influential psychotherapists of the 20th century."  Dr. Meichenbaum has published extensively; his book “Roadmap to Resilience” has been downloaded over 35,000 times from 127 countries worldwide and is available for free download.
